Kerry has been part of our church family since the age of seven, where she was confirmed, grew up in the youth group, and later raised her three children in the life of our church. Her deep roots here have given her a lifelong love for ministry with children and youth.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Longwood College, with a minor in Mathematics and a Virginia teaching license. In addition, she earned a Youth Ministry Certificate in 2023, equipping her to serve the next generation with both professional and spiritual training.

Before joining the church staff in March 2019, she worked as a high school math teacher (2001–2006) and a college associate professor (2005–2008). Her background in education, combined with her heart for ministry, allows her to connect with students of all ages in meaningful and engaging ways.

As Assistant Director of Children and Youth Ministry, she is passionate about helping kids and teens discover God’s love, grow in their faith, and find a place to belong within the church family.
