Is the online giving secure? Yes. Warwick Memorial and our vendors provide the latest technology regarding encryption and security. We do ask that you help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account.
Can I donate to a specific account or cause? Yes, you can designate your donation to a particular account such as the Building Fund or the Youth as well as to any specific ministry. Just notate that on your donation or select online the specific ministry if it is listed.
From what types of bank accounts can I give?
You can give online from your bank account (ACH) or you may use your MasterCard, Visa or Discover debit/credit card(s) for a credit card transaction. But a preferred way, which does not incur any transaction fees, is to use your personal bank’s Bill Pay option. You can setup weekly, monthly or yearly donations with no cost (in most cases) to you or the church.
Are there fees involved with online giving?
You will not pay any fees with your online contribution. Warwick Memorial however does pay all fees associated with online giving. When you are determining whether to give via a debit/credit card or ACH, please keep in mind that the processing fees associated with credit cards are higher for the church than with ACH transactions. Please consider using your personal bank’s Bill Pay option – this incurs no fees for you or for the church. 100% of your donation goes where you designate.
Will I receive an Annual Giving Statement for tax purposes?
Yes. Your giving history is confidentially maintained by the Warwick Memorial Finance Office. You may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Additionally, Warwick Memorial will mail you a Giving Statement by January 31 of each year to use when filing your taxes for the prior year. This statement captures all of your tax-deductible donations contributed.
Is There Any Benefit to Warwick Memorial When I Give Online?
Yes. Online contributions require less processing from our office staff since the information is logged and deposited automatically. For questions not addressed here, contact us at email@example.com. You will receive a response from our staff as soon as possible.
Your information is held securely by Warwick Memorial and our giving platforms. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. Warwick Memorial will never call you to ask for your personal log-in information. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled.
