Jim graduated from Great Bridge H. S. in 1969. He then served in the Air Force for four years. Following his time in the military, Jim worked at Rock Church in Virginia Beach as the school cook. From there he worked as youth director in Germany for two years. After returning to the states, Jim started a maintenance service company. After 25 years building up his company to 150 employees he sold it and retired. Now Jim is a resident of Hampton, Virginia and his home church is Central UMC where he also serves as the building superintendent and chair of the witness team. Jim joined Warwick Memorial in January, 2011.
